Hyundai Motor Provides Official Protocol Vehicles For the First Korea–Central Asia Summit 2026
SEOUL, July 27, 2026 – Hyundai Motor Company announced today that it will provide official protocol vehicles to heads of state and delegations attending the First Korea-Central Asia Summit 2026, scheduled for September 16, 2026.
The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the vehicle cooperation with the Preparatory Office for the Korea-Central Asia Summit at the Seo-hee Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seoul.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Chung Eui-hae and Dong Jo Kim, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Policy Office at Hyundai Motor Group, along with key government and company officials.

The First Korea-Central Asia Summit 2026, taking place in Seoul this year, represents the only multilateral leaders' summit to be held in Korea in 2026. The gathering will convene heads of state and senior ministerial officials from Korea and five Central Asian nations—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan—to discuss cooperation across economic, diplomatic, and trade sectors.
Hyundai Motor will provide a total of 33 Genesis G90 and G80 sedans for the duration of the Summit to transport Central Asian leaders, ministers, and senior dignitaries.
